Completion Rates You Can Actually Trust

Interview status now reflects what actually happened in the conversation, not just that a session ended.

More Detailed Interview Statuses

If someone clicked your link, connected, said nothing, and left after five seconds, Frank counted that as Completed.

So your completion count was flattering and slightly meaningless. 

Worse, it flowed downstream — into your analytics, and into anything you'd wired the interview-completed webhook up to.

Now, Frank shows five statuses instead of two:

• Scheduled — booked, not started.
• In progress — happening now.
• Completed — the interviewer reached its closing. Not a duration threshold, an actual finished conversation.
• Incomplete — ended early, but the participant did talk. This is what used to be called Dropped.
• Dropped — connected and never responded at all.

Three things follow from that: 

• The completed interview webhook now fires only for genuinely Completed interviews, so anything you've built on it stops triggering on five-second no-shows
• Dropped interviews are excluded from analytics entirely
• And the Interviews table shows and filters on all five statuses, so you can tell the difference between someone who bailed halfway and someone who never engaged at all

This change only applies to interviews after this date. Existing interviews keep the status they already have, so your historical completion figures won't correct themselves. 

If you're comparing this month against last, the comparison isn't clean — and the direction of the error is that the old numbers were too generous.
